Welcome to the Morgantown Public Library
May is National Bike Month
National Bike Month is an opportunity to celebrate the unique power of the bicycle and the many reasons we ride. Whether you bike to work or school; to save money or time; to preserve your health or the environment; to explore your community or get to your destination, get involved in Bike Month in your city or state - and help get more people in your community out riding too!
To learn more about biking, please read our Biking Pathfinder of materials in the Library.
Curiosity Quest 2012
The Morgantown Public Library offers special one-day & two-day enrichment classes for children 1st grade & up throughout the summer. Grade levels are as of Fall 2012. Our mission is to provide children with a fun, safe place to explore topics of interest in-depth, through reading, crafts, music, games and hands-on activities.
Cost per student per class per day is $15. A two-day class is $30. Classes run from 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Lunch is not provided. Children can register for as many classes as they like, but space is limited. Please see the Curiosity Quest 2012 page for course descriptions and dates.
You must register in person at the Circulation Desk on the 1st floor of the Library. For further information, contact: Circulation Desk: 304-291-7425; or Joan Bissett: 304-599-0092 or mplcuriosityquest@gmail.com. Please visit our Facebook page for information and updates.
